Our Story

BIMC Hospitals was initiated from a vision to establish an international standard medical centre in a bid to cater the growing needs of quality healthcare services for residents and tourists in Bali.

On July 27th, 1998, with only 10 staff, BIMC Hospital opened its doors in a modest building. With a growing number of clients, 3 consultation rooms and 2 observation beds was merely not enough. Needing a larger and more comprehensive facility, a four-storey building was built in 2005 in Simpang Siur area, Kuta. In 2007, BIMC Hospital took another large step by securing its official license as a fully accredited hospital. In 2010, BIMC Hospital affirmed its standpoint in medical tourism industry. Therefore, a new hospital was built in 2012 in Nusa Dua, which now offers visitors dialysis treatments with spa services, surgical and non-surgical cosmetic treatments, as well as dental care. Now, after 14 years of operation, BIMC Hospital has helped up to 200,000 patients. Furthermore, BIMC Hospital has been recognized as the only preferred healthcare provider in Indonesia by International Assistance Group (IAG) and a preferred partner of Australian Oil & Gas (AOG).

BIMC Hospitals provides a multitude of comprehensive services performed by a specially trained medical team in two facilities located in Kuta and Nusa Dua. The hospital continually updates its facilities and staff qualification process to meet both international and Indonesian standards. Chief Executive Officer of Siloam BIMC Hospitals Group Bali, Dr. Donna P Moniaga, oversees a dedicated team of professionals from Australia, USA, UK, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, and Sweden who are ready to assist patients 24 hours a day. Patients can rest assured that they are receiving quite possibly the best care in Bali as BIMC Hospitals is equipped with ultra-modern medical technology.

In improving the quality of healthcare services in Bali, BIMC Hospitals applies values that prioritize patient’s safety, quality info to patients and proper medical records. Besides providing comfortable patient’s family area, BIMC Hospitals also allows second opinion of CT Scan readings and makes follow up call to patients in order to appreciate the patients more.

Both BIMC Hospital Kuta and Nusa Dua Our are the same in quality but slightly differ in purpose. And also because of the obvious difference of characteristics in each location, the patients admitted at each respective hospital also vary. BIMC Hospital Kuta is located in a very strategic, central spot and generally receives more patients in need of emergency or medical care whereas BIMC Hospital in Nusa Dua usually caters more to medical tourism and specific medical treatments, such as dental or dialysis treatments. Most services are shared between the two hospitals, but depending on which service the patients seek and the type of care they need, they will be referred to the hospital that suits them best.
