Restorative Services

Filling
A dental filling is a type of restorative dentistry treatment used to repair minimal tooth fractures, a cavity after he or she removes tooth decay or otherwise damaged surfaces of the teeth.

Extraction
Dental extraction or exodontias is toot removal performed for a variety of reasons mainly tooth decay that has destroyed tooth structure to render the tooth non-restorable.

Endodontic Treatments 
Endodontic therapy is a sequence of treatments for the pulp of tooth which results in the elimination of infection and protection of decontaminated tooth from future microbial invasion. Pulp is soft tissue inside the root canal of tooth contains blood vessels, nerves and connection tissues. This procedure is commonly referred as root canal treatment.

Crowns 
Restoration of substantially damaged teeth with crowns made of aesthetic porcelains or a combination of tooth-strengthening materials

Bridges 
Replacement if missing teeth with aesthetic porcelains fused to metal that attaches the artificial teeth and uses sound teeth on either side for support

Partial & Full Dentures
Full dentures are used if no teeth are left for support in conjunction with the gum and jawbone. Partials are used if some serviceable teeth are present for support.

Veneers

Dental veneers, also known as porcelain veneers or composite veneers are thin shells of tooth-colored, translucent porcelain or composite resin, custom made to fit over teeth and improve their color, shape and overall appearance. Placement of dental veneers can dramatically improve your smile and appearance. Placement of dental veneers is sometimes referred to as “instant orthodontics” because they can be used to cover a variety of dental problems involving teeth in the “smile zone” including:

  • Spaces between the teeth.
  • Poorly shaped or crooked teeth
  • Broken or chipped teeth
  • Permanently externally stained and/or internally stained teeth
  • Unsightly or stained fillings

 

Dental Implant
Dental implant is a modern option for replacing missing or falling teeth. They procedure itself normally less pain, long-lasting, and totally natural to substitute the original part of the jawbone and helps maintain its health. A dental implant will replaces just the root part of the missing tooth. The implant is then topped by a realistic-looking dental crown.

Normally the procedure carried out under local anesthesia where you feel numb on the area where the implant is to be placed and is a relatively comfortable procedure. This was considered as minimally invasive with no open wounds following implant surgery and there is little post-operative discomfort.

Dentist normally will do examination prior to the surgery, to determine if patient is suitable candidate for implant procedure. The examination is started from consultation and panoramic x ray. So you cannot just decide need implant by yourself.

Patient will need to have a complete exam so that your dentist can see how much bone volume and density you have in the area of the missing tooth, since a certain amount of bone is needed to support an implant.

Whom Should I See For Dental Implants?
Implants are normally placed by dental surgical specialists (periodontists and oral surgeons) or general dentists who have undertaken special training in implantology.
