BIMC Hospital was initially founded as a medical centre called Bali International Medical Centre on July 27, 1998. At that time, with only ten staff members, BIMC opened its doors.
After seven years as a successful medical clinic, the opening of the hospital facility in Kuta in 2005 marked the beginning of the BIMC Hospital Group and in the following two years, it received the official hospital license under the name Bali Indonesia Medika Citra (BIMC). The fundamental concept to provide international standard medical care to those in need proved to be a success, and now, BIMC Hospital has further expanded its Centres of Excellence and broadened its reach with a second facility located in Nusa Dua, offering a wider range of services in both locations.
BIMC Hospital continually updates its facilities and staff qualification process to meet both international and Indonesian standards. Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Donna Moniaga, oversees a dedicated team of professionals from Australia, USA, UK, Indonesia, Japan, New Zealand, and Sweden who are ready to assist patients 24 hours a day.
With the new expansion of BIMC Hospital in Nusa Dua, designed for the purpose of medical tourism, BIMC Hospital is also a pioneer in the industry in Indonesia, putting Bali on the global map alongside other Asian destinations that provide health care to patients from all around the world.
Also on the roster of augmented services is BIMC Hospital’s Family Medicine program, which introduces an innovative and affordable solution for both preventive and corrective health care for residents in Bali.
With more than a decade of experience in delivering the highest standards of healthcare in Bali, BIMC Hospital strives to provide excellence in care for residents and tourists in Bali and is recognized as the only preferred healthcare provider in Indonesia by the International Assistance Group (IAG).
The team at BIMC Hospital goes above and beyond to accommodate patients’ needs; driven by an ambition for excellence and a passion for compassion.
