Fully equipped four-wheel ambulances are on alert 24 hours a day, supplied with GPS units and radios allowing the doctor and nurse on board direct contact to BIMC Hospital’s emergency room, which is prepared with the latest technology and a specifically trained medical team.
The select team of medical staff at BIMC Siloam Nusa Dua consists of specialists in the areas of emergency medicine and intensive care who are on call 24 hours a day, each with their own cellular phones and pagers for round-the-clock availability. BIMC Siloam Nusa Dua is capable of assessing and stabilizing patients who are in a critical condition. As the situation dictates, the patient can be hospitalized, held for observation, or prepared for medical evacuation.
The 24-hour Accident & Emergency Centre is equipped with cardiopulmonary resuscitation equipment, ECG, defibrillators, vital signs monitors, IV pumps, ventilators and other fundamental equipment necessary to deal with any kind of medical emergency or trauma.
For medical evacuation – should it be necessary – BIMC Siloam Nusa Dua will handle all arrangements, either by commercial airline carriers, helicopters, or private air-ambulance charter.
