On July 28, a team from the medical practice of BIMC Siloam Nusa Dua visited Sekolah Tunas Kasih in Taman Mumbul Nusa Dua, to provide health talks to parents and eighty-five students.
Students were given first-aid knowledge by BIMC Siloam Nusa Dua ER GP, Dr. Dewa Wijaya; vital tips to handle choking, bleeding, insect bites, and other first aid procedures that save numerous lives on Bali each year.
Before the session, dozens of parents took the opportunity to have an interactive session with ENT Specialist Dr. Putu Dewi Pramusita, Sp THT, on the subject of sinusitis that commonly happens to young ones. The goal of the talks was to increase general awareness of health and emergency situations and build greater alliances within the community.
