Considered the world’s most sought after wave and what sponsor Rip Curl Bali calls a “benchmark Bali barrel machine and all-round epic wave, up there with the best ‘lefts’ on the planet,” an ambulance is necessary given both the power of the wave and the long distance from a medical facility.
