Hotel and Hospitality Industry Participate in First Aid Training.

Posted on : June 7, 2011

First Aid Training in Indonesia is a relatively uncommon program.  In real life, when there is an accident, people generally don’t know how to respond.  As Bali is one of the most popular tourist destinations, it is important for the Hotel & Hospitality industry to know Basic Life Support – First Aid Training as they are usually one of the first people to have direct contact with tourists.  This is one of the reasons why BIMC Hospital organized a First Aid Training for Hotel & Hospitality industry on 7th May 2011.

The participants of Hotel & Hospitality industry included; Alilla Soori, The Samaya, Puri Santrian, All Season Resort, Amaris, Bali Tropic Resort & Spa, Villa Coco, Mayaloka Boutique Villa and Puri Dajuma Cottage.  During the training, the participants learnt resuscitation techniques such as: open the airway, check breathing, giving rescue breaths and perform chest compressions.

After each training session, the participants are asked to join in a role play scenario and are expected to respond quickly to try to save the victim’s life.  In addition to the practical training, participants will each receive a certificate from BIMC Hospital confirming they have successfully completed the Basic Life Support – First Aid Training session prepared by BIMC Hospital.

Continuing our support towards Tourism Industry, BIMC Hospital is holding another First Aid Training for Hotel & Hospitality on 18th June 2011.  For further information about our First Aid Training tailored for your company, please contact our Sales & Marketing on 761 263
