On July 30 Red Bull held their international surfing competition, Bali Night Riders. Red Bull Night Riders always takes place under unique conditions, at night under the moon and stars. Each of the six pro surfers competing in this “tow-at” contest has the opportunity to capture big air, pull off their best tricks and push the limits of their sport. This spectacular event got underway from 6pm in the inky darkness surf off Berawa Beach, with eight pro surfers and a crowd of onlookers gathered at the newly opened Finns Beach Club. BIMC Hospital Nusa Dua provided ambulance standby and a medic support team for this extreme sport event.
