Critical Care Team
BIMC Hospital have developed a select team of medical staff that forms the critical care team. That team, consisting of specialists in the areas of emergency medicine and intensive care, are on call 24 hours a day, each with their own cellular phones and pagers for round-the-clock availability.
BIMC Hospital is capable of assessing and stabilizing patients who are in a critical condition. As the situation dictates, the patient can be hospitalized, held for observation, or prepared for medical evacuation.
The Emergency and Trauma Area is equipped with cardiopulmonary resuscitation equipment, ECG, defibrillators, vital signs monitors, IV pumps, ventilators and other equipment necessary to deal with any kind of medical emergency or trauma.
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation Centre
The Centre maintains a range of cardiac monitoring and intervention equipment.
Emergency Treatment Centre
An international emergency and trauma room is equipped and staffed 24 hours a day.
