BIMC Hospital Ubud officially opened on Friday, March 23, its third hospital to date located on Jl. Kedewatan, Ubud. The medical facility is equipped with various facilities all of international standards namely its emergency room, health consultation facility, on-call doctor service, observation room, pathology and pharmacy.
General Manager of Business Development for parent company, Siloam Hospitals Group, Mr. Putu Deddy Suhartawan in his speech at the grand opening of BIMC Ubud held at the Arma Museum, said that BIMC Ubud was part of his company’s plan to provide quality health services for the community and the swelling number of tourists who visit the highland retreat, which today is not the sleepy village it once was.
“Whenever you have such a concentrated amount of tourists visiting a single destination accidents and medical issues invariably happen,” said Mr. Suhartawan. “With our 24-hour professional clinic, we know that residents and tourists, whether for an emergency or general medical enquiry, will know where to come.”
