“Bali is known for its beautiful beaches and culture but there’s more to offer such as international standard hospitals ideal for medical tourism and one such facility is certainly BIMC Nusa Dua, and not just for emergencies, but for elective treatments,” said Menpar Arief Yahya.
“Many tourists from Australia visit to relax as well as come for beauty treatments such as liposuction, breast augmentation and other procedures,” said the Minister Yahya. According to Untung Suseno Sutarjo, Secretary General of the Ministry of Health, the preparation of health tourism policies and encouraging the private sector to organize superior hospitals specifically for medical tourism, will be developed from his Ministry.
