The number of visitors on Bali Island has been significantly increasing since mid of December last year. Local and foreign tourists are occupying popular tourism destinations, especially beaches in Badung area. Supported by BIMC HOSPITAL, Bali lifeguard organization, Balawista, chaired by I Made Suparka, is preparing the team to welcome the New Year.
BIMC HOSPITAL has been supporting Balawista regularly. In the end of 2012, the international hospital which runs two facilities in Kuta and Nusa Dua, provided 25 sets of First Aid Kits. “At the moment, we have 21 lifeguard stations under our supervision,” said Suparka. Balawista which was founded in 1978 is now planning to develop the organization intensively at national level and preparing Bali as the education centre. “We will always do our best to support Balawista in upgrading their services in order to improve safety and comfort in beach areas in Indonesia, especially Bali.” said Herlia Adisasmita, PR and Communications Manager BIMC HOSPITAL.
