On 21 of September 2011, BIMC Hospital received a visit from Sunrise school. 14 children aged from 5 years old arrived at BIMC Hospital at 10 am and were very excited to see the hospital.
Dr. Meike Magnasofa M. Med (WH) welcomed the school children. The purpose of the visit was to tour around the hospital as well as learning about the human body. Dr. Meike explained the function of our organs such as heart, blood, eyes and others.
The right technique of washing hand was also one of the topics for the children to understand and practice in their daily life. Questions were asked by the children who were very excited to know everything. The hospital tour ended up with an ambulance inspection. Each child received a goody bag with a child’s first aid kit from BIMC Hospital as a thank you for visiting BIMC Hospital.
