BIMC Hospital Nusa Dua has routinely offered hand hygiene education to schools in Jimbaran and Uluwatu, and of recent has added other awareness information such as how to properly handle medical emergencies. In the coming months BIMC will commence emergency campaigns for as many as six international schools in part by providing first aid training and first aid kits.
The aim is to ensure schools have appropriate first aid equipment and knowledge in the event of an emergency. First aid kits typically include sterile swabs, non-adhesive dressings, plain adhesive strips, tape, alcohol, bandages, gloves and more of which should be stored in a wheeled box. First aid kits are given directly to each school’s principal after students receive their first aid training.
